About

Drawing is a way for me to observe and understand systems. Working through the grid as a methodology, I am interested in acts of counting, measuring, and organising, and in how repetition can produce order, variation, and disruption.

My work often begins with a memory, a rhythm, or a gesture observed in passing. Working primarily in drawing and painting, I use the grid as both a structure and a constraint, balancing precision with play.

Through repeated forms, I explore the tension between conformity and deviation, and the ways individuals exist within larger structures. Underlying the work is an interest in repetition, labour, and the ways people organise themselves within the routines of everyday life.
